Mothers of Freedom

$10.00

Please join us for a work-in-progress presentation of Mothers of Freedom, an original play being developed by Theatre of Eternal Values in America. The play tells the stories of freedom fighter and abolitionist Harriet Tubman and women’s rights activist Pandita Ramabai through the lens of their meeting in 1888. At times funny, moving, and inspiring, this piece explores the courage and spiritual depth of these two women while telling the astonishing stories of their struggles and triumphs in the fight for freedom.

The performance will be presented at the Arts Inn, in an intimate rehearsal space. This piece is still in development, and may include both reading and memorized performance. We also hope to gather audience feedback and impressions towards the next stage of development.

November 12th, 7:30 at Arts Inn. Tickets $10
